| A major UK logistics company asked us to develop
and deploy the central IT system for their logistics division. The requirement was for a single business solution, to rationalise and centralise the day to day operation of the business. A logistics management application to streamline and improve their existing B2B business systems, reducing operational and administration costs. |

| Microsoft .Net windows 32 bit client server application,
with SQL server 2000. This is a major 3 tier application, with
client front end, middle tier transaction server (encapsulating
business logic) and back end data store. The system manages orders, order tracking, deliveries, automated invoicing, task work-flow, customer billing and reporting. Benefits included a faster, more cost-effective central IT system, improved customer service, and associated operational and cost savings. We were then asked to develop and integrate an in-cab GPRS hand-held solution, which was developed on the windows Pocket PC platform.
